My TBR Bookshelf

So I have been going through my shelves for awhile and getting rid of the books I no longer want whether it's because I knew in my heart I would never actually read them or ones that I didn't like/were just okay, or ones I wouldn't want to reread. I am trying to get my collection down to books that I love and the ones I am excited to read! It's still a work in progress but I'm getting there! (I am working on a discussion post of how I got to this place!)

Anyway, last night I decided I wanted all of my unread books on one shelf - so I went through my shelves yet again and now have this massive pile of books waiting for me to get rid of them! And I also have all my unread books together on this bookcase!! And all the books I have read on my other two bookshelves! I thought it was going to be hard to split up my books, but I am so happy I did this!! I love seeing all the books I read together and the ones I need to read together. I'm hoping this will help me lower my  TBR pile (of owned books) down!! Plus the feeling of moving one of these books to my "read" shelves is going to be a great feeling!! My goal would to only have 50 or less books on my owned TBR but right now there's 82.... (like I said work in progress!)

Months ago, I posted my bookshelf tour one shelf at a time and my shelves have certainly changed since then (I couldn't even post my last one because I got rid of more than half the books)! I got rid of soooooo many books so once I'm happy with my shelves I'll have to do an updated one but that will be a long time from now. I will most likely do an overview on my "read" shelves soon though :)

But now on to the books I own that are unread...

Do you separate your "unread" from "read" books? Have you read any of these? How many TBR books do you have (from owned physical books)?
